Rob is Open Box’s Director of Custom Solutions, leading a highly experienced technical team responsible for technical strategy and the delivery of custom software solutions that enable real estate technology transformations.
Since joining Open Box in 2006 as a software developer, Rob has progressed through a wide range of roles spanning technical leadership, architecture, consulting, client leadership, and divisional leadership.
With 20 years of experience in real estate technology and software consulting, Rob has a proven track record in building and migrating large-scale, data-driven custom applications and architecting advanced integrations. He specializes in translating business requirements into robust, scalable technical solutions and is well known for his ability to rapidly master new technologies. Rob expertly guides both internal teams and clients through complex technical decision-making and solution implementation to deliver clients’ business objectives.
Outside of work, Rob is a passionate runner, having completed numerous ultra trail running events. He also dabbles in surfing, enjoys a fine glass of South African wine, and is an accomplished golfer, having represented his province in his youth.
